Arrival in Prague

EasyJet does remind me of Southwest of a few years ago. Very basic services and an enthusiastic young fun staff.
We are all happy to have arrived in Prague. We have gotten a minor glimpse of the city as the plane landed at night. We meet our driver who is very helpful. He says that he is not usually a driver and he seems fairly high level. We suspect that he may have some stake in the Astra apartments where we are staying.

Our apartment is a clean spacious two room apartment with kitchen. We arrive around 11pm. All the grocery stores are closed. We try walking to the local pizzeria that we noticed was open on our way in but it has closed. We walk on in the light rain and find a small basement pub-restaurant that is just perfect for the night. We have some wine, cheese, appetizers, drinks and food for the kids. Hey, I think I like Prague so far! Now it is the morning and it is time to go in search of an ATM and groceries. Posted by Picasa
