Since we were delayed by 2 hours our pilots were more than happy to make up the time as best they could in the air. For most of the trip we were trucking along at around 600mph.
We all managed a little sleep in the plane an managed to arrive in London only 1 hour late. We ended up with 4 hours to get from Heathrow to Gatwick and checked in for our flight to EasyJet (the "Southwest" airlines of Europe we are told).
The boarding area for our flight out of Gatwick had some kids activities.
Lindsey slept the bast of us on the flight from London and was still a pretty happy traveler 14 hours in.
