Prague Castle - St. Vitus

Saint Vitus dominates Prague Castle on entry.
An interesting architectural feature is the business men in the lower corners. While the cathedral was started in the 1300's it was not finished until 1929. Apparently, these businessmen thought their part important enough to be placed among the saints.
Impressive, yet it is hard to have any cathedral that compares with St. Peters on Notre Dam.
Though his pictures came out blurry our son's main interest was the crypt and the tomb of St. Wencious(sic). Posted by Picasa
