Easy day!

Today the Walas are taking another easy day. A late night party (1am-4am) with lots of people and very loud music kept us up. The Day family set off to Giverny to see the gardens of Monet, and got up at 6 am, but the Walas are taking a needed rest day instead. I am finally caught up on blogging! The museums are free today. Great timing as today is the day that our museum passes (a great value) have run out. We hope that the Days have a good time today, but they all seemed pretty tired as they headed out the door this morning.

We headed to the Picaso Museum instead. On the way we found a market at Chatau de Halles. We purchased an authentic Falafal sandwich before heading on towards the Museum.

Laurel and Rachel managed to look into this church yesterday. We did not bother today. We are starting to get to the point that we have seen so many cathredrals that they really need to be something very special before we will look in.

The Picaso Museum was very nice. I think that it was very interesting even to the kids. They did a lot of play with light an mirrors. This is a picture of 1/2 of the front of the building relected in a giant mirror.

We returned home to the apartment to find that the Day family had a very nice day in Giverny. We were so glad that it had worked out well for them!

There were a few times when our kids begged us for an easy day.

Were you a PART of the party or did you just have to listen to it?
